As we announce our Spring’24 theme of dystopia/hope, join us in exploring the oxymoronic amalgamation of these themes in poetry, prose, and art. Our thematic prompt urges the writers/artists to look beyond the preestablished spheres of existence and create exceptional links between these contradictory themes. Whilst on one side humanity suffers from the dystopian nightmares of oppression, desolation, and tyranny, on the other side, optimism blossoms within darkness itself. The balance of two, thus, is what one calls life.
