About
On the surface, Hassan Rauf is an accomplished civil engineer with over 10 years of industry experience, including co-founding and leading a concrete products manufacturing start-up successfully. While his professional success can be attributed to his father, he notes that his love for literature and philosophy was essentially acquired through his late mother, who always has been the force behind Hassan’s literary endeavors.
Having spent most of his life in Pakistan – the social culture triggered an inquisition within a young Hassan. He constantly noticed systematically implemented cultural devices in our society, which in my opinion strip young people of empathy and hinder emotional intelligence. He developed a knack for writing primarily to note these observations, and later proceeded to adopt it as his primary form of expression. This eventually led to his founding of tpsg. Publishing (tpsg) in 2018, which started out as a platform to gather like-minded writers and artists to promote emotional development in young people through art and literature. The efforts of tpsg were recently recognized by The British Council and to this day, tpsg has been working to inspire an inquisition in young minds.
Presently, Hassan is based in Canada where he works as an executive for a multi-national firm. He spends his spare time working on his book, reading, exploring nature, or star gazing.
