“Tethered to the days, the soul blooms uneasy.“

“I wanted to write a poem about hope. / But how can I when the world’s like that?“

“A glimmer of hope is the key to escape.“

“The weight of worldly woes,/
The sting of victorious defeat.“

“You all are miserable/ Your path is a hoax“

“But this time, reality was prettier than the imagination itself.“

“I could feel someone’s stare ripping my soul. I could feel my life leaving my body.“

“I watched all this happen as a spirit. It hurt as much as it would’ve if I had been alive.“

“Nightmares sit, winged gargoyles,
in the parapets of better days.”
