      Hi, everyone! I’m Esha, an aspiring poet.

      I’d define myself as;

      “An immortal soul,
      having amour with ‘words and verses’
      when immersed in ‘solitude
      leaves impression on thoughts. ”

      Looking forward to this community’s unfolding potential and connections.

          Not sure if this is still a discussion but @esha-ahmad – you said solitude leads to tranquility. I’d love to know what you mean here.

            @esha-ahmad, I agree with @shahalam-tariq on this. This is totally subjective. I for one prefer solitude and have a high tolerance to it.

                @hrauf615

                I wish I could answer that. But I think it’s again totally subjective we just have to go through bouts of lonliness and isolation to figure that out.

                  I could not agree more @shahalam-tariq. The question then is, how much solitude is too much?

                    Glad to see here a discussion about solitude. Though about the solitude vs madness thing. I think it’s subject and relative, as one person’s madness might be another’s solitude. I mean a way being which might seem destructive to one might lead towards creativity for the other.

                    That said, I think the desire for solitude can lead to isolation, as you said “lonliness”. There are times it almost acts like a defense mechanism against potential relationships. It’s as if the desire for solitude, at times, acts as a justification for the anxiety attached with the act of socialization.

                        I could not agree more. Solitude can be a very good thing – but there is a fine line between “good” solitude and “madness” don’t you think?

                          Yeah, as solitude is deeply linked with our intuition, tuning us into our inner wisdom, probing unraveling notions such as existentialism and romanticism, when we actually acknowledge our existence. When dive deep into our psyche, confronting not only the complexities of this world and worldly illusions but also grappling with inner mysteries, humanly nature, their different shades and many more. Thus, unveiling the shrouded truths of this universe and hidden patterns of our thoughts.
                          In short, Solitude paves the way to Tranquility.

                          Moreover, it’d take a long discussion. 😃

Do you find yourself contemplating the vastness of existence, the complexities of human nature, or something else entirely?
